Worked in Corby for 3 years. That Northampton and Kettering are massive shitholes. The villages and countryside surrounding it though is some of the most beautiful in the UK. Full of porridge wogs though.

I was born in Plaistwowmbut my mum and dad moved out to kent when I was a toddler and we lived in Loose which is just outside Maidstone until I was 12.
Kent is a lovely place, would be very happy to move back at some point.

Used to live in a village called Weedon and worked in daventry not far from Northampton. The most backward experience of my life. No street lights, busses once a day. Wtf?
Northampton was like paradise compared to that (which isn't saying much). Why do half the people up there speak like farmer giles and the others fairly normal. Aslo, the inbred thing seemed alive and well in those villages. Outside London people seem to be in a time warp.

Northampton town might not be the best but there are some lovely places surrounding it. Like everywhere, do your research and asking on WHO aint research!
